When I was a kid, I didn't like broccoli. It felt like I was a giant eating lots of little trees, and I didn't want to carry that burden on my 4-year-old conscience! Years later, I love broccoli! I know they aren't actually little trees. Or maybe I've just gotten used to the idea of slaughtering a forest for my dinner. It's probably the first option. I hope so.
